Many people refer to it as ‘the best season’ where the temperature is dry and humid and the climate remains at an all time high for a few months; students all over the world also leave school to go on summer vacation. With this climate comes many opportunities for fun and enjoyment and also a chance to express oneself in a way that they probably could not before. During this period of freedom and relaxation, there are many activities and trips that are awaiting and this is the perfect season to fulfill these tasks. Because of the hot climate that comes along with this season, beaches and pools are basically escapes that can be visited to relax and be cooled down. These are great getaway spots because of their inexpensiveness and their usefulness during this time. In addition to getting away and having fun this summer, amusement parks sit in the top section of the list. Its closeness and good reviews makes Coney Island (located in Brooklyn, New York) a great destination this summer; however, be ready to send a lot of money on food and rides there. Although taking trips to the beach and pools and blowing cash on trip to an amusement park seem like the only activities to do during this satisfying season, there are more than enough things to accomplish.

For lovers of the Arts, we recommend taking the family to a local movie theatre to see one or more of this summer’s newest films. With many genres to choose from such as animation, romance, sci fi, and action, we guarantee that these must-see films will be a positive and fun experience for everyone. And, when that is over, why stop there? Concerts (both in and outdoor) make up a huge part of Summer’s musical entrees. Concert such as: Coachella and the Governor’s Ball music festival which take place annually are at the top of our list as it pertains to Arts and Entertainment. With a large group of celebrities and various fashion statements, Coachella is perfect for the artsy and fashionably inclined so in addition to providing entertainment,  these concerts can educate us on different fashion trends which seem to have invaded summer’s original wardrobe. In previous years, a t-shirt and Capri would suffice, but with constantly evolving fashion, clothes (especially shorts) have been taken to the extreme. Understandably, the scorching temperatures that accompany this season can make anyone want to even climb out of their own skin; but their are limits to how much exposed skin is acceptable. Particularly, schools tend to have a stricter dress code but spaghetti straps and very short and revealing shorts have become the trend among teenagers. We believe that though wearing these clothes are understandable, individuals should aim to dress pleasantly and allow this summer vacation to be an enjoyable one for everyone.

Lastly, Summer wouldn’t be complete without stopping by favorite restaurants and also finding new ones. After carefully experimenting last summer, there was no doubt that one of the restaurants that should be visited is Famous Dave's. There are many different restaurants to visit and foods to sample this summer and should be judged personally.

All in all, Summer is without a doubt the most adventurous and entertaining season of all and should be experienced to its fullest potential by all.
